“Last month I was able to visit the Food Bank, and see first-hand the effort and resources being utilized to fight hunger in our communities. Their operation provided over 57 million meals last year to those in need. I am eager to continue contributing to that number and help in any way I can to fight hunger not only through September but throughout the year.”
Andersson is collecting items at his district office, 127 S. First Street in Geneva, and will drop off donations at the Food Bank as needed. To find out more about the Northern Illinois Food Bank and how you can further contribute, visit their website at www.solvehungertoday.com.
