State Representative Steve Andersson (R-Geneva) is hosting a townhall event for local residents on October 25th. All 65th District residents are invited to attend. It will be held from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at the Geneva Park District’s Sunset Community Center: 710 Western Avenue.

The townhall is an opportunity for constituents to ask questions about the Representative’s positions on legislation, local issues, the future of Illinois—and more. Andersson has served as State Representative of the 65th District for two terms. With the close of the 100th General Assembly, the Representative is leaving the House of Representatives. This event will give his constituents a final opportunity to have a meaningful discussion with their State Representative.

“Often when an employee leaves a job, an exit interview is conducted by the employer to determine what was right and wrong with the job. In this case my employer is the people of the 65th District. So this is their chance to ask me the hard questions,” said Rep. Andersson. “No question is off limits, the only thing I will require is civility.”

Representatives Andersson encourages all local residents to come join the discussion; to listen, learn, and share their input. With questions about the event, contact Rep. Andersson’s District Office at (630) 457-5460.
